Joanne Koenig-Macko has been painting professionally and winning awards since 1984. In 1995, while she was living in Connecticut, she received an etheric message to paint angels with her bare hands. These celestial images would spread the light to world leaders and millions of people. Her life changed a year later. When she had completed three angel paintings, a being of white light appeared to her and showed Joanne that she would speak to many nations, reach millions and teach everyone about the gifts that we all have. Joanne's angel art now graces the United Nations, where it was hung by Madeleine Albright for the world to see. In addition, an angel print was sent to the White House and used as a backdrop at the United Nations when Joanne presented her work to the former President of Costa Rica, Rodrigo Carazo, to honor him for his work for global peace. Her work has also been presented to President Gorbachev, President Hosni Mubarak and many world dignitaries. Joanne's World Peace Angel print currently hangs in the vestibule of the State of the World Forum, an organization chaired by five Nobel Peace Laureates and fourteen other world leaders. It is currently being sent to many world leaders and is being collected by art lovers around the world!
Joanne uses crushed minerals in her paints to achieve a shimmering, energetic quality that leaves the viewer in awe. She has been guided to use whatever nature provides to paint the fine details, so flower stems, twigs and feathers become her brushes. Her angels shimmer with light and life. All of her angel paintings and prints exhibit a heightened luminescence which makes the paint sparkle like crushed pearls.
Joanne has served as Director of International Angels for World Peace, a project under World Citizen Diplomats, opening up many countries to the angelic realm and is busy traveling the globe spreading light and love. She shares the story of how the angels have changed her life, as well as many others. Joanne is available for workshops, seminars and signings. Each painting has a story to share and reflects love ...
