Thomas J. Carey, a native Philadelphian, resides in Huntingdon Valley, PA. He holds degrees from Temple University [BS] and California State University, Sacramento [MA] and also attended the University of Toronto [PhD Programme in Anthropology]. Now a Philadelphia area businessman, Tom has been a Mutual UFO Network [MUFON] State Section Director [1986 – 2002] in Southeastern Pennsylvania, a Special Investigator for the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies [1991-2001], and a member of the CUFOS Board of Directors [1997-2001].

Tom began investigating aspects of the “Roswell Incident” in 1991 for the Roswell investigative team of Kevin Randle and Don Schmitt, and, since 1998, has teamed exclusively with Don Schmitt to continue a proactive investigation. Tom has authored or co-authored over thirty published articles about the Roswell events of 1947 and has contributed to a number of books on the subject, as well. He has appeared as a guest on many radio and TV shows throughout the country and has contributed to a number of Roswell-related documentaries on-screen and behind the scenes. Most recently, Tom was a consultant and interviewee [with Don Schmitt] on the highly acclaimed and rated Sci Fi Channel documentary, The Roswell Crash: Startling New Evidence [2002], The Learning Channel’s The World’s Most Amazing UFO Cases [2004], the History Channel’s, Conspiracy Theory – Roswell [2005], the Travel Channel’s Weird Travels – Roswell [2005] and the Sci Fi Channel’s Sci Fi Channel Investigates – Roswell [2006].

John Lerma, M.D., author of Into The Light, currently serves as the inpatient medical director for the internationally renowned TMC Hospice located in the heart of the largest medical center in the world, The Medical Center of Houston, Texas. After graduating with honors from The University of Texas in Austin with a pharmacy degree, he entered The University of Texas San Antonio medical school and received his board certification in both Internal Medicine as well as Hospice and Palliative Medicine. For the last ten years he has spent his time caring for the terminally ill and is widely recognized for his compassionate care and teaching the subject of end of life care to nurses, medical students and resident physicians. He is currently involved in a research project in the area of palliative medicine with MD Anderson Hospital, the leading cancer institute in the world, and continues his personal research on further elucidation of pre-death hallucinations vs. visions.
Dr. Lerma is a frequent guest on local, national and international media, and is currently working with his family to create a non-profit company, Hearts Without Borders, whose plan is to take the hospice concept to underserved areas in South America.

Doug Noll, Lawyer turned Peacemaker

Doug Noll is a peacemaker and mediator, specializing in difficult, complex, and intractable conflicts. He graduated from Dartmouth College, earned his law degree at University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law where he was a member of the law reivew, and earned his M.A. in Peacemaking and Conflict Studies from Fresno Pacific University.

Doug is a Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators, a Fellow of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators and on the American Arbitration Association panel of mediators and arbitrators. He is an author of the books Sex, Politics & Religion at the Office: The New Competitive Advantage (Auberry Press 2006), with John Boogaert, and Peacemaking: Practicing at the Intersection of Law and Human Conflict (Cascadia 2002) and, numerous articles on peacemaking, restorative justice, conflict resolution and mediation, and is a mediator trainer, lecturer and continuing education panelist. As a lawyer, Doug is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and has been voted as one of the Best Lawyers in America since 2005, by bestlawyers.com.

Mr. Noll is also a second degree black belt in Chinese kung fu and has taught tai chi for over 10 years. He is a certified Pranic Healer. He has a variety of other interests and accomplishments including certification as a Level III ski instructor, instrument-rated private pilot with multi-engine and helicopter ratings, Irish fiddle and harp player, whitewater kayaker and rafter, and Spey casting steelhead fly fisherman.

James Gilliland was raised in a small desert town spending most of his time in nature. In high school he was captain of the water polo team, on the swim team and experienced a wide variety of friends of all kinds for he never separated himself into any one group.

College was very diverse. He studied biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, pre-law and pre-dental, yet did not acquire a degree or practice professionally. Having the diversity was more important in understanding all walks of life.

His work experience is also very diverse. He learned all facets of the construction industry, grocery industry, real estate industry and owned his own commercial real estate company which developed and managed shopping centers and other large multi-million dollar projects. He was also on the board of directors for the chamber of commerce.

After a near death experience brought about by drowning, he could no longer continue business as usual. His eyes were fully opened, and he saw the lack of love and joy in his life and his work. Success through material acquisition, “the American dream”, was now seen for its emptiness. He realized that the temporary joy and pleasure possessions and outer appearances brought were not the goal and began his inward journey. After experiencing the pure unconditional love and joy, “BLISS”, of connecting directly to the source during his near death experience, all that mattered was to reconnect and maintain that contact.

This began a spiritual journey and 20 year quest which included 6 years of Yoga, The Inner Christ Ministry, and the Tibetan foundation were he was certified as being an intuitive visionary of the highest consciousness and energy. He has studied with other yogis, lamas, master teachers and continuously has been taught from within through his extensive practicing of meditation. Whitley Strieber is an American writer best known for his horror novels The Wolfen and The Hunger and for Communion, a non-fiction description of his experiences with non-human entities. Strieber also co-authored The Coming Global Superstorm with Art Bell, which inspired the blockbuster film about sudden climate change, The Day After Tomorrow.

On December 26, 1985, Strieber reportedly had an experience in which he thought he was abducted from his cabin in upstate New York by non-human beings of some kind. He wrote about these experiences in his first non-fiction book, Communion (1987). Communion is generally interpreted as a claim of alien abduction, but Strieber says that he draws no firm conclusions about the nature or source of his experience. He refers to the beings as \"the visitors,\" a name chosen to be as neutral as possible, and leaves open the possibility that they are not extraterrestrials and even that they exist only in his mind. He has repeatedly expressed his frustration with what he feels are fantastic claims incorrectly attributed to him.

Communion was a Number 1 New York Times bestseller in the Non-Fiction category. Strieber went on to write three more autobiographical books about his experiences with the visitors, Transformation (1988), Breakthrough (1995), and The Secret School (1996). Each was commercially less successful than the last, with Transformation the only other title besides Communion to make the New York Times bestseller list.

JAMES J.
