Weston’s Story

When I left you last I shared Dr. Abell’s reaction to hearing Weston for the first time. Weston’s experience with a Dr. Abell did not end there, however. When I was leaving, Dr. Robert Abell, Weston’s naturopath, made sure to introduce me and Weston to his wife, Dr. Lisa Abell, who recently began working in the same office. Though I had never met Lisa physically I had heard many wonderful things about her. In fact, during one visit with Dr. Robert Abell about a year ago, Weston had Meg tell him that his wife was “hot” much to Meg’s embarrassment that he would use such typical teenage vernacular! Remembering what Weston said I had to smile when I met her (he was right) but also remembered him saying that she was very sensitive to energies and he was excited about meeting her in the future.

Lisa was very open about meeting Weston and we spent a few minutes chatting at the front desk. It was not long before Lisa commented she could feel Weston’s energy, to which he responded with a great big smile and a laugh. Soon the receptionist, who was new to me and Weston, was chiming in that though she could not feel the energy as intently as she suspected Lisa did, she could sense a change/electrical feeling in the air. All the while Weston was giggling and smiling and acting quite proud of himself! I have gotten used to speaking to people when Weston is around and them not really giving me 100% of their attention as they cannot stop sneaking peeks or flat out staring at him. I do not consider this rude in the least and appreciate people’s interest and enthusiasm when “experiencing” his energy for the first time. It is strange, however, as it seems I am immune to his energy and I am often reminded of that scene in the movie Michael with John Travolta in which Michael is explaining to the female lead character why she does not smell sugar cookies (like everyone else does) when he (Michael) is around. In spite of not smelling sugar cookies, she does believe what is happening, however, and that he is indeed St. Michael.
